In October 2022 the very first
"Yoga for Charity"
took place in the heart of Shustoke at the Village Hall.

The day raised £800 for
Warwickshire Search and Rescue!
A truly worthy cause run by volunteers and 100% self funded.

I invited fellow Yoga Teachers Lisa Colclough (Sole2soul Yoga)
and Emma Fletcher (Go Flow Yoga) to join me by providing yoga classes in exchange for donations to the chosen charity.

WHAT AN INCREDIBLE DAY
The atmosphere, vibe and love for yoga filled the air. Those who came along enjoyed Hatha, Yin, Vinyasa Chair and Nidra.......simply wonderful!
A huge THANK YOU to Lisa and Emma for giving their expertise and time and to all of our raffle donations from local businesses. Together we made a truly memorable day!

Warwickshire Search and Rescue don’t receive any government funding and rely 100% on charity work to fund new equipment. Many volunteers often fund their own training and travel. The charity deal with a wide spectrum of ages and situations including missing, lost or injured persons, and more recently through the pandemic those suffering from mental health problems. The volunteers are the first response to many incidences ahead of the police. Hopefully we as individuals will never need this service, but you just never know.
