Chair Yoga

Chair yoga is a gentle form of exercise and is practised seated and/or standing using the support of a chair.
It is a wonderful way to explore and develop the range of movement of your joints and muscles. A soothing class to allow the body to gently stretch. Lengthen, strengthen and align whilst the chair provides the confidence of support.
Research has shown that yogic breathing and movement promotes blood circulation and allows greater oxygen flow to the lungs helping to promote a stronger immunity response to certain illnesses. This increased circulation can also improve mood and alleviate symptoms of depression and anxiety. Join Lian for 45 minutes of gentle movement and stretching in this light hearted, relaxed class.

Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra
Join Lisa for an hour and a half of opening, releasing Yin Yoga and a long guided meditation called Yoga Nidra which will leave you completely blissed out :-)
Yin Yoga is a very relaxed, very restorative type of yoga. We hold poses for around 5 minutes in a supported and relaxed way using bolsters, pillows, blankets and blocks.
It's extremely relaxing and meditative so helps us slow down. It works on the body using the Chinese meridian system so certain poses help certain areas of the body.

It's great for the mind, but also great for the body as it targets fascia and joint health and helps improve flexibility.
Bring a bolster and a block (if you have one - we have some to borrow) a cushion/pillow, blanket and an eye pillow if you have one.
